Answer

You can check NLog 4.4.0-alpha1 for this.

we have the following plan for supporting other frameworks:

1. We will fix first Xamarin (see #1009) - this is now for 80% done
2. Then we will fix UAP10 - done for 60%

3. And after that or .Net Core, or PCL.

Hi.

It would be very nice to have .NET Core support in NLog.

I have taken a look at the work to be done and it's not trivial. I think we have to split the lib into multiple package to deals with the dependencies.

I'm interested to work on this but I think we should discus about how the job must be done. If you want you can ping me on GitHub (pseudo: phenixdotnet)

Sounds good!

I will contact you this week

would love to see this working on coreclr and can appreciate the level of work required for this to happen.

Thank you for providing such an awesome logging library for .net!

Planned

We will try to fix this after Xamarin and UAP10

Hi.

I started to work on the subject, you can find the work on my repo (https://github.com/phenixdotnet/NLog/tree/dnx).

We can start a new discussion on my repo or on the official to check how we can handle specific targets for example.
